A "one stop shop" approach to training - one organisation, making it easy for industry

Safeguarding

The Quality Training Partnership can provide a comprehensive service relating to Safeguarding.  Traditionally referred to as Child Protection, this new term encompasses the Child Protection arrangements and those of the Vulnerable Adult. QTP and its Associates are well versed in these arrangements and can provide a “One Stop Shop” approach for its clients.

QTP can provide training for all levels of your organisation – from Basic Awareness for shop floor employees; Intermediate Level for Supervisors, Duty Managers; Lead Officer training for those with nominated responsibilities and Safer Recruitment for Chairs of Interview panels or HR Officers / Managers.
This approach means that you need not go elsewhere for any of your Safeguarding training or consultancy.

This approach meets the requirements of Section 11 of the Children Act 2004 and with Consultancy to support the development of procedures, a culture of safeguarding can be established in your organisation. A culture where the welfare of the child / vulnerable adult is paramount and where staff feel confident to deal with situations as they arise.

Our trainers are highly experienced and have delivered this type of training and managed safeguarding within large organisations. Their approach is with honesty, integrity and empathy. The courses are highly interactive and use group work effectively to engage the participants at all levels, but without imposing apprehension with this difficult subject.

We can also offer bespoke courses; designed with you, for you and delivered with professionalism.

QTP can provide over the phone advice as part of our Client Retainer Service package and investigate any of your internal safeguarding concerns as an independent organisation.

QTP can also provide training to the voluntary sector; helping sports clubs achieve Club Mark, improving awareness or as Continued Professional Development (CPD) for coaches and Committee Members. Courses are available for Welfare Officers to improve awareness and abilities- but specifically building confidence in dealing with allegations and disclosures, reassuring these invaluable people that they can and will do the right thing at the right time. Some of our trainers are active in the Leisure Industry and others as Welfare Officers. This ensures that training is based on personal experience of the processes involved.

If your club is not sport related we can still help. Our Associates can create bespoke courses specifically for you!
